Introduction

The organisation holds an average of 260 dogs and 220 cats at any given time and has over its history helped more than 4 million dogs and cats.

Omega Environmental Services Scope of Works

Phase 1
Omega’s phase 1 scope of works were to attend site to carry out WAC, Quantification and Solids testing in order to identify the classification of contamination to the land remediation area. Following the results of the above testing the area was identified into non-hazardous and hazardous contamination.

Phase 2
The second phase of our works included the supervision, haulage and disposal of the contaminated soil. We supplied all required PPE, RPE, plant, equipment and a decontamination unit to the site personnel in which Andrew Aspinall provided a demonstration on how to efficiently use the decontamination unit.

Andrew and the omega team implemented all dust suppression techniques during the transportation of soil into hazardous and non-hazardous piles to ensure readiness for the haulage and disposal process.

Superb work Omega!
